Best Airbnb in the World

Do you love luxury but not so keen on the cost of it? If so, you are just like me. This place is beyond amazing and this is why I call it the Best Airbnb in the World. We travelled as two friends, just like we regularly do. The entire five week trip, all booked via Airbnb. Each place needed to have minimum two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Well this place has three bedrooms, we didn’t need the third room but there was no way we could miss out on this apartment. If you are new to Airbnb consider using my link in this text to join. As a new member you will get a $30 travel credit for your 1st trip and i will also get one as well for referring you. Use the book now button to find this apartment. The host of this apartment also has a Penthouse available in the same building. [cherry_button text=”Book Now” url=”″ style=”info” size=”extra-small” icon=”icon: fa fa-hotel” target=”_blank”]cherry_button [/cherry_button]

The location of the building is fairly close to the airport. It’s just a short drive above the airport, the taxi was just 200Baht. The apartment itself cost $152AU, that was split between two of us which made it just $76AU per night each. We were two solo travellers so if it was couples travelling then it makes it even more unbelievable value. Don’t forget there is also a third bedroom so it can sleep up to six people. That would make it just over $25AU a night. Right next door is a small night market, just down the street there is a cool cat cafe and just a few streets away is a real hip, happening bar/food area. Im not sure it’s busy every night in this area but it sure was packed and hard to find a seat when we were there. I’m not even sure what it’s called, it does not even show a street name on google maps. Ill create a map below to help you find it. There is loads of options and it is super cheap. Both of us were craving some fabulous spicy Thai food. Surprisingly, we didn’t get much in Vietnam which is where we just arrived from. What better food to choose as a “Welcome to Thailand” dish than the famous Tom Yum. JC had the Tom Yum Goong (Shrimp), I had the Tom Yum Gai (Chicken).

It is also super close to the Maya Lifestyle shopping centre. There are co-working spaces here which is popular with the Digital Nomads. Now totally off topic, check out below this cool life size Batman statue that was for sale in the Maya Mall.

The Apartment is called “The Loft”

  • 3x bedrooms
  • 2x bathrooms
  • Oversize Luxury dining table
  • a secondary outdoor dining on balcony
  • Full size Luxury Kitchen
  • wifi
  • 65inch Big Screen TV
  • Netflix
  • Home Theatre with 6x recliners
  • Large Leather Lounge with bean bags too.

As this place is a little out from main tourist areas you will most likely need transport. Cabs regularly drive past or you can book them online. You can catch a Songthaew (red ute) but they don’t pass by the apartment often enough to be super convenient. Best choice I feel is a scooter. If you are confident on a bike then it is a great way to get around but please be careful. There is a bike rental place nearby called “Vanessa’s Motorbike Hire”   They are a super friendly, small family business. We got in our 1st night around 9pm, they were kind enough to deliver the bike to us late at night even though they were closed for the day. That is really going above and beyond for service and I am super grateful. Click the link above to find them and tell them Dallas from sent you.
